My research fellowship in movement disorders led to acclaimed presentations at international meetings.
I have worked widely in Ireland and England in specialist neurology centres, and published in leading neurology specialist medical journals. I continue my academic and research interests in movement disorders and epilepsy.
I am a member of leading neurological organisations including the Association of British Neurologists, the European Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Neurology, the Movement Disorders Society, the International League Against Epilepsy, the British Neurotoxin Network, the Royal College of Physicians (London), and the Royal College of Physician of Ireland.
Interests and Hobbies
Outside work, my sports interests include running, sailing, surfing, rugby and military training. I am an officer with the British Army in the Royal Army Medical Corps (Reserves). I love music and play the piano. My music interests include classical music, pop, opera, ballet, jazz and latin. I love art and collect paintings and sculpture. I have one fabulous son attending school in London. My partner is a nurse and sculptress who creates wonderful bronzes and cake commissions to brighten up our lives.
