About Dr O'Dwyer
I am a consultant neurologist in independent private practice, having held two separate substantive NHS consultant posts in London and been Head of Neurology at the regional neuroscience centre Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust where I led the service through the COVID19 pandemic and implemented many changes to address the acute and common needs in the sector.

I am a member of leading neurological organisations including the European Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, the International League Against Epilepsy, and the Royal College of Physicians (London).
Interests and Hobbies
Outside work, my sports interests include golf, sailing and shooting. I am an officer with the British Army in the Royal Army Medical Corps (Reserves). I love music and play the piano. Other interests are history (particularly European and military), art/painting, sculpture and opera. Family is really important and sharing as much time as possible with my wife, children and of course the cocker spaniel is what I love best.
